Carbon steel with northern white ash handle. Choose length from 8’ to 12’ and Eastern or Western Pattern.
Western (W) is designed for harder, clay like soils.
Eastern (E) is designed for lighter, sandier soils.
Both designs have a scoop shape for lifting mud, water and back fill from deep holes. The shovel straps and handle have footage marks to indicate hole depth.
As always, be careful when using shovels and spoons. Handles are made of wood and wood can break. Shovels are not to be used as pry bars or have leverage applied to them.
