Terms And Conditions
WARRANTY:
“The Manufacturer warrants equipment manufactured by it to be
free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and
service, its obligation under this warranty being limited to
replacing at its factory any part or parts which shall, within 30
days after delivery of such equipment to the original purchaser, be
returned to it and which its examination shall disclose to its
satisfaction to have been thus defective: this warranty being
expressly in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, and
all other obligations or liabilities on its part.”
It is expressly agreed that there are not warranties, expressed or
implied, made by the Manufacturer on equipment furnished here under,
except the Manufacturer’s Warranty against defective materials or
workmanship above set forth.
CASH DISCOUNTS:
1% 10 Days - Net 30 days. Discounts from shipping charges will not
be allowed. A service charge of 1.5% per month or fraction thereof,
or the highest interest rate permitted by applicable law, will be
charged on all overdue accounts.
PRICE CHANGES:
All prices and terms are subject to change without notice. Orders
are accepted on the basis that they will be invoiced at the prices
and terms in effect on the date the order is received by Halls,
providing the order calls for immediate shipment.
CANCELLATION FEE:
A 15% RESTOCKING FEE WILL BE CHARGED ON CANCELLATIONS OF SPECIAL
ORDERED NON-STOCK ITEMS.
LIMIT ON RETURNS:
1 year metal goods, 6 months soft goods. Returns are to be sent to
the point of origin.
RECONDITIONING AND REPAIRS:
A reasonable charge to recondition and repair the merchandise (if
necessary) will be made.
TRACING SHIPMENTS:
If after a reasonable time merchandise in transit is not received,
consignee should contact Halls for assistance in tracing the
shipment. Please allow sufficient time for the delivery before
calling.
SHORTAGE OR DAMAGE:
On shipments damaged in transit, contact Halls to file a claim. DO
NOT THROW OUT THE SHIPPING CARTON - inspector must see the carton.
(If the shipping carton is not available, a claim will not be
honored.) Shortages MUST BE REPORTED within 5 days of receipt of
shipment. We will gladly extend whatever assistance is required.
Again DO NOT THROW OUT THE SHIPPING CARTON.
RETURN OF MERCHANDISE: MUST CALL FOR A RETURN AUTHORIZATION
NUMBER.
Customer must pay UPS or Parcel Post regular ground service when a
package is returned for exchange or credit. Hall’s will not accept collect or truck shipments. (If
Hall’s is in error, credit will be given for ground service return
postage.) Merchandise to be returned must be unused, we cannot
accept used merchandise back for credit or refund. NO RETURNS WILL
BE ACCEPTED ON SPECIAL ORDERED ITEMS. When returning an item for
exchange, the customer will pay the return postage and the postage
to reship. Returns for credit or refund, the customer will pay the return postage and the return will be subject to a 3% restocking fee.

Policy****************
Hall’s pays freight charges (our choice of routing) on all orders
over $150.00 shipped in the 48 continental states USA , except as
listed below. Exceptions: (entire freight charges paid by customer).
1. When special routing is requested by customer.
2. Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, 3rd
Day Air, Saturday Delivery and Parcel Post shipments.
3. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii,
Puerto Rico,VI and other locations beyond the continental USA.
4. Truck shipments - Packages that
weigh more than 150 lbs or measure greater than 130 inches in
length and girth (distance around) will have to be sent by truck,
because they exceed limits set by UPS. (Examples, ladders,
trailers, some Oshkosh items, larger fish tapes, reel bucks,
ground protection mats, etc.).
